The

Astanza Trinity

Tropical Sunset Laser & Esthetics uses the latest, state-of-the-art laser technology to produce the best tattoo removal results and skin care. We use the Astanza Trinity laser to perform popular treatments like laser tattoo removal, vascular lesion removal, pigmented lesion removal, and more. This full-spectrum laser is the preferred choice of many leading medical spas, physicians, tattoo artists, and aesthetic practices worldwide, including our Fort Myers, FL practice.

The Astanza Trinity combines the power of two full-powered lasers: a Q-switched Nd:YAG laser and a Q-switched ruby laser. Together, these lasers produce three essential wavelengths (1064 nm, 532 nm, and 694nm) for removing unwanted tattoos, unsightly spider veins, and bothersome age spots and pigmented lesions. All of these wavelengths are safe to use on all skin types, including darker skin tones IV through VI, and selectively target ink particles without damaging the surrounding skin tissue.

Furthermore, the Trinity produces an ultra-fast pulse duration and high pulse energy to deliver intense peak power for optimal ink shattering and faster fading. The Trinity also features a flat-homogenized square spot beam that evenly distributes the laser’s energy. This design avoids pulse overlap and over treatment of the skin while reducing the risk of hot spots.

Why

Wavelengths Matter

When it comes to successful laser tattoo removal, the more wavelengths a laser has, the better. Nowadays, virtually every laser supports 1064 nm and 532 nm wavelengths. These are considered standard wavelengths and target 90-95% of tattoo colors alone. These include colors like black, brown, red, orange, violet, and yellow.

The remaining 5-10% of colors like bright blues, turquoise, aquamarine, and vibrant greens are considered stubborn or resistant pigments that don’t absorb 1064 nm and 532 nm wavelengths. Only a unique ruby wavelength, like our Trinity’s 694 nm wavelength, is selectively absorbed by these pigments, causing them to heat up and shatter. The combination of all three wavelengths gives us the ability to target, shatter, and remove ALL tattoo colors, especially bright, multicolored tattoos that can’t achieve complete removal elsewhere.

Why

The Trinity vs. PicoSure

Tropical Sunset Laser & Esthetics extensively researched several lasers to ensure our clients not only received the best removal results, but also the safest treatments. While Cynosure’s prized PicoSure laser is used by many of our competitors, it is simply outperformed by our Astanza Trinity technology. Despite Cynosure’s incredible job of advertising their picosecond system as the best tattoo removal machine, their misleading marketing, unsafe treatment application, and lackluster results have led to numerous class action lawsuits.

According to Cynosure, the PicoSure laser can deliver complete laser tattoo removal in fewer sessions thanks to its picosecond technology. However, there is no clear evidence that supports that claim.

Many class action lawsuits against Cynosure testify that the PicoSure does not deliver effective results and others say their claims that the laser can remove virtually any tattoo are false. In fact, some PicoSure owners even reported that the laser burned their customers’ skin while still being unable to remove their tattoo. Other side effects included severe blistering and even bleeding from the laser – all very unlikely results of laser tattoo removal if the proper device and protocols are used.

Unlike the PicoSure, our Trinity laser is backed by proven results and thousands of satisfied customers worldwide. Our Fort Myers practice delivers safe treatments, superior results, and technology that you can trust.

The

Zimmer Cryo

When it comes to laser tattoo removal, most clients fear the discomfort associated with treatment. While laser tattoo removal is not pain-free, majority of clients have expressed that the treatment is very tolerable and comparable to a rubber band snapping against the skin.

Regardless of your pain tolerance, Tropical Sunset Laser & Esthetics prioritizes patient comfort. We want your treatment experience with us to be the best, which is why we’ve invested in the Zimmer Cryo 6 cooling machine. This noninvasive skin numbing technology provides maximum comfort and relief before, during, and after a laser session.

How does it work? The Zimmer Cryo 6 directs freezing cold air (-30ºC) through a hose to the treatment area. Within a matter of seconds, your skin will feel cool and numb throughout the entirety of your treatment. Not only does the Cryo 6 reduce pain, but it also protects the skin from unwanted thermal damage.
